Something finally resolved such that I can start planning a vacation! I booked the last week of October off; now, I need to decide where to go and what to do on my vacation.
Part of me wants to book an international vacation, but I'm not sure that a week is long enough to go to the places I'd want to go. October is apparently not a great month to travel to nearby countries due to the rainy season.
Another part of me wants to take a chill vacation, go to a few nearer cities with beaches and beach-adjacent activities, and hope that the weather cools down enough to make it pleasant, non-scorching beach weather. I'd probably be able to check off a bucket list item in one place, while partaking in a known favorite beach activity at another place nearby.
And then another part of me wants to take the easy route, pick a few adjacent cities I've never been to before in my own country and explore those towns; though, I've done that for my last few vacations and maybe I'm getting a little bored of that. I tend to decide on this option when it's a last-minute trip.
Whatever I choose, I definitely need a vacation, and I need to put in the time ahead of time to make a choice and plan.
