This evening I went to the same improv show that I went to last month. The space is so welcoming - small enough to not be overwhelming, big enough to not feel like I'm the only person in the audience. The cast and audience are always so welcoming and it's clear that many people find it to be a safe space.
Part of me wants to check out other shows at the venue too, but I also want to keep this one small thing clear and to myself.
The show ended at 9pm and I went for my training run afterwards. It was later than I'd usually go and I was worried I'd feel too tired, but it turned out to be really nice. The weather is still way too hot and humid, but it was a little more bearable later into the night and I felt strong.
The dogs that were out late were also adorable. One really wanted to say hi, but its owner was obviously just trying to go for a quick night walk and get home (though the owner was kind too!).
